C K Kumaravel, CEO & Co-Founder of Naturals Salon & Spa, is a tall business figure, based out of Tamilnadu, who has created 700 salons across 20 states with over 70 lakh customer bases in over two decades. His popularity is often attributed to the fact that he, along with his co-founder Veena, has produced many successful women entrepreneurs across India through a robust business model namely their retail and franchise chain. Kumaravel aims to roll out 3000 salons, empower 2000 women entrepreneurs and churn out 1,00,000 jobs in the process.
In a first of its kind anywhere, the popular pan-India hair and beauty care brand, Naturals opened its new Groom India office last week inviting priests from the three major religious communities of our country–Hinduism, Islam and Christianity–to invoke God’s name during the inauguration, reflecting the very core of religious harmony and unity existing in the state of Tamilnadu, on its inauguration ceremony.
Crossing the precincts of religion, the entrepreneur-turned-politician has clearly emphasised the age-old business mantra, “Each customer is a god, and service to man is service to god” through his act.
